It seems that the Spanish Government has won another battle.

Now that Santa Margarida has lost the battle over the Canal System, it's not the turn of Empuriabrava to lose the plot, literally.
The argument over who owns what in the Canal stakes has been won by the Government, and now a part of your property if you live on the edge of the Canals, is now not yours.

The true extent of what will happen will come out in the next couple of months. If you have a property near the canal, then be aware of what could possible happen in the near future.

Many people in the area are unsure, but with rumours of no money being available to do anything because if the state of Spain's finances, not much will be done in the next few years or so.

AquaBrava - Bahia de Roses, Costa Brava

AquaBrava, situated in the area close by to Roses on Spains Costa Brava is one of Europes largest water parks. How much does it cost - Tickets start from €9.00 for half a day up to €120 for a yearly season pass. Because AquaBrava closes after the summer it's advisable to check out your local tourist information for actual prices and great special deals. Some gift shops and supermarkets have special offers running every year, if you spend an amount of money you will recieve a percentage off etc.

If you do rent a private villa, make sure you check all the fee's that are involved, cleaning, deposits and parking fees, Roses is quite a large town with inadequate parking for everyone. Cleaning fee's can be an extra option chosen by you, this will be a final cleaning charge when you leave, but if the property is not left in a clean state, an extra charge may be taken from you deposit. Damages may also be an extra charge, and a minimal fee may be charged.
